Pit Bull Owners Addresses Published

In COMMERCE CITY, Colo. the addresses of registered Pit bull owners was published in their local newspaper. The owners are angry and rightfully so, but the woman that published the addresses says she was doing it for pubic safety.
If that happened in my city, I would be raising a stink too. To view the article, Newspaper Publishes Addresses Of Pit Bull Owners. There are some video coverage as well.

Because it's unsafe for these dogs to be in their own houses or yards? Well, it is NOW! I would sue the woman who published the addresses. I'd be terriried to let my dog out in my own yard because some pit bull hater might do something to them!

I believe in the article it said that information is in public record. Well, I'm sure with us too having to register oor Pit bulls that if someone really wanted to find us, it must be there...but to blatantly advertise it right in the newspaper. That's just plain WRONG!
She's made it as if the owners and dogs are guilty of a crime and these are dangerous dogs she is warning them about.
Here in Ontario, we feel victimized both the owners and our dogs, but does that mean we should be published where we live?
I for one live alone with my pets. All it takes is a crazed maniac to spot that and what defense do I or Shasta have? NONE what so ever!
Commerce residence with Pit bulls have more worry for concern than ever.
And Andee, this whole thing is about discrimination. They don't post where Serial Killers that have done there time and released are living, yet they are allowed to publish this?
I hope the sue the *ss out of her! But then again, Pit bull owners don't have rights.
I think my 'next' post should be on the letter I received from Michael Bryant in snail mail.
