Happy Birthday Shasta!

Birthday girl, Shasta, 4 years old
October 20th
Her first full day Birthday Party Outting, muzzleless and leashless on private property.

Shasta and Lucy exploring logs. Lucy's a pro at it while Shasta is strill trying to figure out what this freedom's about.

Are we in with the leaves or are we trash???

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHASTA

My Birthday wish to you is much more freedom to come soon as we WIN.

Love Mommy xoxoxo

Happy Birthday Shasta! She looks so nice in the autumn leaves, she almost blends in perfectly!

I have good news! Alain has finally fallen for a bully. A sweet little Staffordshire Bull Terrier who regularly visits the park by our place. Alain now seems convinced we need one as soon as we are able. Hahah!
Men are so funny, I bought this book from the Golden Horseshoe APBT Club (to help the legal funds, I also bought a shirt and a hat) and when it arrived Alain snatched it up and read it all in one night - every time I asked him about it he said "It's boring" but I couldn't get him to put it down. When he had finished he was like "That's the most boring book I've ever read, if you leave it out I'll have to read it again!"

LOL - I'm getting a bully!

*Prances*

(and I didn't tell him I told him so - but I was thinkin' it)

OH SHARON!!!! THAT'S WONDERFUL NEWS!!! Didn't we say all he had to do was finally meet one and the dog would do the rest.
No, don't ever say, 'See I told you so!' Think it all you want. *giggle* I'm sooooo EXCITED for you! You're wish is finally coming true. And thanks for helping to support the Defense Fund.
Love and kisses to you from me and Shasta!!!!

Sultan, Shasta thanks you so much for that delightful birthday wish. You can tell by her face, she was never quite sure if all that day was real or a dream.
I wish I could have gotten more of her smiling, which she did, but mostly she trying to act like a dog again, but out of practice.

Thanks Ruby and Storm. Shasta had a blast and of course my heart all a glow watching her have such a fun full day.
Lucy really is a beauty and if you remember way back in my blog where a pup is in a baby carrier and another of a small pup nipping at Shasta's jowl, that's our Lucy!
To this day, Shasta still mothers Lucy even with Luc being way bigger than her now. It's comical to watch and they are best friends and we call them cousins. LOL
I don't know what I would have done throughout the ban without Lucy, as she is the one that constantly plays with Shasta to keep her socialized.
