                                   POST COVID-19 BULK SUPPLIES UNDER "THE PROJECT RE-BUILD IRAQ"
 
Now that we are at the post COVID-19 era in Iraq, much emphasis in Iraq has turned to rebuilding a stable, viable and vibrant economy, the source of funds to be utilized for this rebuilding projects are from World Bank, the World Bank in this post COVID-19 era have established and initiated the Private Sector Development Trust Fund (PSDTF) for Iraq, this Trust fund is to be utilized to encourage jobs growth and additional investment in all sectors with more concentration in the Health sector to continue in the re-building/re-construction process by name "THE PROJECT RE-BUILD IRAQ", in this light a Multi-Donor Trust Fund was established for funding of this Private Sector Development Trust Fund (PSDTF) with an initial funding of US$750m for capacity building and re-construction of every sector of Iraq, with an additional funding of an extra US$850m from the The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) to broaden the scope and focus of support for the Private Sector Development Trust Fund (PSDTF) for more developmental projects to kick off with a final disbursement date of 30th October, 2024.
 
I have been seconded from my position as Head of Division of Quality Assurance at the University of Alkafeel, Kufa-Iraq, to the Iraq Reconstruction Management Office(IRMO) as the new Team Lead of the Emergency Procurement Unit, of the Iraq Reconstruction Management Office(IRMO), my team and i have have been mandated by our government to partner with the The Private Sector Development Center, Iraq with a renewed mandate to solicit, evaluate, advise and recommend reputable foreign and local Iraqi companies to work as partners in "THE PROJECT RE-BUILD IRAQ" initiative.
